Village Green Concert Wednesday, August 15th, 2012 from 7-9 PM
The Beadle Brothers will play in concert on the Green at Holland Patent this year on Wednesday, August 15th, from 7 to 9 PM. A combination of great weather, great food and great music has made this one the areas don’t miss summertime experiences. The Beadle Brothers include keyboardist and vocalist Matt Beadle and his brother Bruce Beadle Jr. They recently recorded their debut album “To the Moon and Back” in Nashville. Filled with a distinctive blend of country influences, the album ranges from the more modern sound of the opening track “I’m Alive” to a more traditional take in the ballad “Still In Love”. “We try to write songs that any average, everyday person can relate to,” said the brothers. Matt Beadle has opened for artists such as Toby Keith, Tracy Lawrence, Sammy Kershaw, Emerson Drive and Blackhawk. The band will open for Gretchen Wilson and Alan Jackson in the near future. Food will be available including hamburgers and hot dogs served by the Holland Patent Fireman. Dan's Premium Old Fashioned Ice Cream wagon will be rolled to the park for the evening and the Presbyterian Church will serve homemade desserts. Concert goers should bring lawn chairs or blankets. The concert is sponsored by the Village of Holland Patent and the Town of Trenton to encourage area people to enjoy the park, the summer and each other.
